Two chimney sweeps, Jan Gunnar Roise and Thorbjorn Harr, both in monogamous heterosexual marriages, are forced by various situations to question their own sexuality and gender identity. One of them experiences his first sexual encounter with a man, while the other appears as a woman in a dream. Suddenly, he is forced to question the extent to which others´ perceptions influence and limit his self-image. Has he perhaps been suppressing parts of himself for decades? And David Bowie also pays a brief visit to dreamland.
